Doctor's fees

The fund reimburses 70% of the doctor’s fee if the treatment was necessary to cure an illness other than a dental one.

To receive compensation, send the forms mentioned below to the sickness fund:

• Claim form SV 127 ‘Claim – Medical care expenses incurred in Finland’.
• Statement on the treatment provided and fees charged by a doctor, SV 120.
• Payment receipt

If Kela’s reimbursement has already been deducted, you do not need to fill in a separate claim form, just send the payment receipt.
