Sickness Fund Silta

Sairauskassa Silta acts as a workplace fund as referred to in the Finnish Health Insurance Act, with the purpose of granting its members benefits in accordance with the Finnish Health Insurance Act and additional benefits as specified in its rules.

In addition to these rules, the Employee Benefit Funds Act is applied to the fund’s operations. The overall supervision of the fund’s operations lies with the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority. The fund’s operations according to the Health Insurance Act are supervised by the Social Insurance Institution of Finland.

Sairauskassa Silta was established in 1955.
